Description
In June, 1813, Wellington prepares for the invasion of France. Sharpe goes to England to recruit new soldiers for the South Essex, only to discover corruption in the highest ranks putting them at risk for assassination. The adventures of a maverick British officer who fights behind French lines in Spain and Portugal during the Napoleonic wars.
