Description
In this season, Avonlea gets an effervescent new schoolteacher and endures a villain plucked from a mystery novel, while Olivia's wedding plans get wildly out of hand and Sara trades places with a street-smart waif who passes as her double. It ends with the death of Marilla Cuthbert, filling in the story between Anne of Green Gables: the sequel and Anne of Green Gables: the continuing story.
